June 10. Mom and Rosanna!!!!!!!!!

Spent day in Front Royal waiting for mom and Rosanna. So great to see them!! Can't believe they are here. Drove into the Shenandoah National Park on the skyline so mom could see this amazing place. Camping in Big Meadows where we enjoyed another sunset. Will be up early for a day canoeing in the river. It's going to be a hot one.

Our original plan was to spend three days and two nights on the river. The forecast has 60 percent chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday so as often happens, change of plans. We will do a day trip and then play it by ear.

Thanks to Rosanna for joining us and bringing mom. We are feeling so blessed. A gift to be able to share a part of this journey with mom. We do miss our home and family.

We met Doug and Lori in Front Royal in front of Soul Mountain Restaurant. Enjoyed talking with them.
