Arrived early to the shelter and found a sunny patch of grass. We were so completely content taking in the warmth we had been craving for three days, Yukon, PF Flyer, and Squatch went to town and we could not think of one thing we wanted or needed. We spent hours just laying there. It was perfect.
Just as the sun went down the guys built a fabulous fire and we had a late night. We were up till midnight telling stories, singing songs, and being silly. Yukon even gave Mark a chance to wear his Kilt. Cocapelli, a 61 year old Vietnam vet, played his native flute for us. Chef grilled hot dogs...who needs condiments. What a fun evening.
Tomorrow we will meet Gordon in Atkins. Can't wait to see him.
