North Dakota Tom. Raised in ND but now lives in Wisconsin. Nice guy, have not seen him for days. We wanted to name him Chief because he is Indian but not his preference. Hope to see him again.
Ghost. Mark and I were picked up by Ghost on our first time to hitch hike out of town. Ghost thru hiked the trail and has hiked around 6000 miles of the AT. He grew up in GA but once he hiked New Hampshire he had to live there. Has for many years. Is back in GA to help take care of his mom. I will include his picture. Was ready to join us
Smokey. Hiked the Long Trail to quit smoking and ended up smoking more. He is a thru hiker who smokes a pack and a half a day
Proffesor. 24 year old from New York who has never hiked before. He has a good education and speaks with quite a vocabulary. Has researched for his thru hike and has all the latest and greatest toys.
Zig Zag (previously two shoes). 24 year old from Tampa. On the move.
Mark from Grand Rapids who wears a Detroit hat. 30 years old. Rented out his house and left his job after reading the book A Walk in the Woods looks like he will make it.
Billy Goat. Don't know anything about him except he looks like a billy goat.
Maine Man. He may have gone home. After five days he didn't think this was for him. Have his number do we can call him when we get to Maine. Nice guy!
