Back on the trail

After two nights in Franklin and a zero day, we are feeling good. I cut my boot inserts down where my blisters were and they felt better today. We hiked 14 miles just past the Wayah Bald and could've hiked more if the sun wasnt going down. Cool days and below freezing nights expected. As we lay in the tent thinking about all that happened today, it is too much to share. A young woman named Amanda gave us a ride today and prayed with us as she left. A hilarious story about Tatooga and his cousin ARock. Pork Chop is an interesting young woman hiking alone until it is time for her to head to Japan to teach English. We had dinner with my nephew, joe and his girlfriend last night...great people. Met a wonderful family, the Gonzales clan enjoying spring break together. Time to curl up in this warm sleeping bag to rest up for another day of who knows what???
